How to fold and ship Persian Rugs, Persian Carpets, Oriental Rugs, Oriental Carpets, Navajo Rugs, Navajo Carpets, Antique Rugs, and Antique Carpets Safely:

Step 1: Lay carpet or rug flat. |
Step 2: Begin folding carpet or rug into thirds lengthwise. |
Step 3: Complete folding carpet or rug into thirds lengthwise. |
Step 4: Continue with a fold at one end as shown. |
Step 5: Continue with another fold as shown. |
Step 6: Continue with another fold as shown. |
Step 7: Continue with the final fold as shown. |
Step 8: Tie firmly to keep folded roll tight. |

Wrap in plastic, noting that use of hooks is not permitted on this package. For extra protection, a towel can be wrapped and tied around your fine carpet or rug before containing your rug in it's shipping package. Your carpet or rug is now ready to ship.
